Have you heard about The Inkey List? No? It’s a new brand to me too, but I’m so glad I discovered it!

They believe that products full of high quality, most wanted ingredients should be accessible to everyone. The entire range is super affordable, meaning you can create your own perfect skincare routine, all without causing yourself to go bankrupt. They have a vast selection to chose from. You can have fun testing them out, and discovering which products your skin thanks you for the most.

What does it do?

The C-50 Blemish Night Treatment works hard to treat blemishes, and helps to prevent any future breakouts by fighting off blemish causing bacteria. All whilst you catch some Z’s, whats not to love?

How to apply

After cleansing, toning and applying my serum. Using my hands, I then apply one pump of the C-50 Blemish Night Treatment mask all over my face to create a thin layer.

The mask can feel a bit sticky for a couple minutes until it has sunk in. I also find it to be somewhat drying on my already dry skin type! Which means my skin can be left feeling a little tight if I use it every night. To combat that from happening, I tend to use this 3 nights a week.

They advise to make this your last step and not to add a moisturiser over the top. So, my nighttime routine ends there.

Whats inside C-50 Blemish Night Treatment?

Vitamin C which helps to brighten and even out your skin tone. It also encourages skin cell renewal which helps with quicker healing times, and with reducing acne scaring.

Salicylic acid, an amazing spot fighting ingredient which gently exfoliates your skin. It clears your pores and prevents them from getting clogged up with dead skin cells, which can then turn into blemishes.

There is also Madecassoside, an ingredient which helps to reduce the redness, and lotus extract which helps to balance out skins oil levels. Perfect for people who have an oily skin type.

Does it work?

Yes!

I’ve been so impressed with this C-50 Blemish Night Treatment. This magic potion really helps to sooth and calm my skin, by the morning the redness of the blemish will have dramatically died down. It’s so effective, and works incredibly well for a product that only costs £12.99.

I find it also works wonders when I get hormonal acne around my jaw line. Those sore, big cystic spots can be incredibly painful, and we all know how they can sometimes take weeks to go away. However, I have found that if I get this treatment onto the spot as soon as I feel it coming up, it can REALLY help to reduce the inflammation and redness. The only negative for me, is that it’s a bit too drying on my dry skin type.
